This month’s bag!

Better late than never right? This is my first Ipsy bag, and I was finally able to open it after spring break! Ipsy sends you five beauty samples or full-sized items for $10 per month! NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick in Pops Retails for $6.00 Every subscriber received a full sized NYX butter lipstick this month! There were three shades (Hunk, Little Susie, or Pops), and I was lucky to receive the shade I was hoping for. The formula of this lipstick is so smooth, just like butter. It’s also decently moisturizing and more forgiving of dry lips than some other formulas. I’m not a huge fan of lip products, but I can see myself wearing and enjoying this a lot! Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Retails for $18.00 Another full sized product! I want to try more highlighters, and this is a great multipurpose tool. I use this all over my face to contour and highlight my cheekbones and under my brows. The only downside of this product is that it’s in pencil form, and I don’t have a sharpener… yet. Crown Brush Oval Concealer Brush (C224) Retails for $7.45 Another full sized product I am happy to receive! I love getting makeup brushes and tools because they can be expensive. This brush is nice and soft, and I haven’t had any issues with shedding. I usually just use my fingers to blend in my BB cream and concealer, so I have been using this with one of the eyeshadows in this month’s bag to highlight my face. I don’t typically wear eye shadow, so before receiving this, I was thinking about swapping it or giving it away. But I opened it up to swatch the colors and realized the lighter shade could be a nice highlight, so I’ll be keeping it.
